Today was a very exciting day in the Wild household, we just found out WE ARE GOING TO MINECON!!!
It almost didn’t happen. Both Pernille and I were logged onto our computers at 5:58 pm PDT (that’s Los Angeles time) on Friday, May 6, 2016. For 15 minutes we tried to get tickets, but every time we refreshed the page we got an error. Then at 6:15 pm we refreshed and got a SOLD OUT message. The whole family was devastated. We were really looking forward to going to Minecon in California this year.
Luckily, Pernille didn’t give up. She was searching the interwebs to see what other people were saying and she discovered Mojang was having issues with the server and there were still tickets available.
We both kept refreshing…
and refreshing…
and refreshing…
then…
I got in, but I hadn’t secured tickets yet.
I filled out the form. Check!
I entered the payment information. Check!
Payment information was accepted. Check!
Then huge letters appeared on the screen reading:
You’re Going to MINECON!!!
The whole room erupted with cheers. We danced and celebrated.
